This course helps students to get the personal lesson on the music pieces from classical, and romantic music to the modern music to help them to become a professional player and musical actor and actress, based on the breathing and vocals.

This course helps the students to search the dances shown in the musical performance, analyze the works, understand the genre of the dances and discuss on their opinion.

This course helps the students to understand the acting and directing and understand it through practices.

This course helps the students to understand the characteristics of musical and the basic elements of musical such as script, music and dance. It also helps students to get the basic knowledge on the expression method on the stage and the technical elements, directing and production of the performance as well as the background knowledge on the practices in musical performance.

The students are encouraged to act using the script of their own and talk about any problems between them in order to make up for any shortages in acting and improve their acting skill.

The works are selected for the actual understanding and experience. The problems and issues happening in the acting would be discussed to help students to understand the acting.

This course helps the students to understand the physical arrangement and learn the basic motions in order to enhance their sense of physical balance and the ability of controlling their bodies.

This course is the class for freshman who face the dance for the first time. This is the basic course to help students to move their body up and down freely and remove the shyness and awkwardness, thus riding over the rhythm and removing the fear of dancing.

This course helps the students to understand the musical by interpreting the musical music number as text and learn the vocal and singing method in order to develop them as the professional musical actor/actress.

In this course, the students will practice a variety of chorus genres including the Gregorian chant, Renaissance choir, classical, romantic and modern choir music and musical songs. The students will practice and play a lot of chorus by time, including Kyrie Eleison of Schubert’s G major mass, Gloria, Credo, Santus, Agnus Dei, world folk music, black music, jazz chorus, a cappella chorus, musical chorus, opera chorus, Korean chorus and gospel chorus.

For production of the works, the story is defined and the students are trained with the resulting dance, acting and music. Once the directing, choreographer, actor/actress, dancer, music and other casts are determined, the production of works starts. The completed work is based on the actual performance.

The course helps the students to learn the concept and components of performance planning. Referring to the cases of performance planning, the students will try the performance planning, presentation and discussion to learn more on performance planing.

This course helps the students to get the basic knowledge on the lighting, which is 4-D design element as well as the knowledge on technology and equipment. Based on the lighting facilities, 2D, 3D or other multi-dimensional effect is made with the lighting design. Based on this, the students will produce the model in the class to get the realistic class.

This course helps the student to understand the basic background knowledge and basic principle of tonality and through the theory of music, they will find out how they are actually used through many examples.

The music is determined through the personal meeting with student, which is proper for the student’s skill. The student lacking in the sense of time can learn the concept of numbers which are the basics of music. The student lacking the music would select a musical piece having good melody so that he/she can play the musical instrument and sing songs for the class.

Performance 1 and 2

In this course, the student can practice their skill which they may lack in the class for musical. In the study group, the students can present their activity plan and directly perform it as planned for one semester. If the students get the course of performance 1 and 2 and performance 3 and 4, they would continue to study the performance in the performance 5, 6, 7 and 8 for 4 years. There will be 8 study groups and the students can take two group courses in one year. They can get take the courses of 8 study groups for 4 years (dance, lighting, stage, script, make-up, planning, decoration and acoustic)

The course helps the students to know the history of music and things which are required in the musical.

The course helps the students to understand the birth of tap dance and learn various kinds of dances through many steps.

The music is the popular genre in which the dance, song and acting shall be properly harmonized. Among them, the song takes a large part. This course helps the student to learn the “analysis of the characters in the works”, “analysis of the scene” and “analysis of lyrics” which are exposed in the musical, The musical ensemble is not only the continuous linked class but also is connected to the performance.

This course helps the students to make the analysis of works and characters using the scripts for musical and play and under the characters in the work in order to improve their acting.

This course helps the students to understand the acting by selecting the work for students’ actual understanding and experience and discussing the problems found in the acting and the future direction.

The dance is the most primitive and passionate artistic act which expresses the human mind and idea with the trained body. The Ballet will be used to balance the body and train the posture and the modern dance will help the students to understand the change in the physical movements. In addition, the jazz and dance sport will make the stage more popular and active. The students would learn various dances and select their own works for choreography and performance. The musical dance class is linked to the classes 1, 2, 3 and 4.

In this course, the students are encouraged to determine their stories to produce the works and train their dance, acts and music. After the casting is made for directing, choreograph, actor, dancer and music, the production of work starts. The completed work is premised on the performance.

In this course, the selected work is analyzed and the five elements of play (such as plot, character, theme, grammar, spectacle and music) are studied for the students to improve the capability of expressing the work on the stage.

This course is the fusion of different majors in the department of culture and art. The professors from 4 majors such as practical music, musical, acting art and piano jointly cooperate with each other and produce the performance to the topic and performance concept which is given every semester.

This course is the history of the culture and art education. For the effective education of music, this course handles the general contents ranging from planning for education from the stage of preparing the ‘teaching-learning’ and the class as the practice of the education to the subsequent evaluation. In the class, the students are encouraged to set up the various models and teaching strategies of ‘teaching-learning’, understand the conditions and processes and prepare the creative teaching-learning process plan for the effective music class. The course will focus on teaching the students to grow to become a competent future culture and art teachers in the future.

This course helps the students to learn the principle of freely moving the body and make the dance with the topic unrestricted by any form or rule using the imagination.

In this course, the student can practice their skill which they may lack in the class for musical. In this course, the students are supposed to select a script and analyze it before acting on it and learning the basic skill of acting. In addition, the students shall learn in this course that the auditorium is a special place where actors/actress can communicate with the audiences, that the stage has the function of explaining the spatial background of the work but also determine the direction of the work and develop the creative scene. The students learn how the play is put on the stage or the process ranging from the analysis of the work through the design of details to the putting it on the stage.

In addition, the jazz and dance sport will activate the stage. The students would learn various dances and select their own works for choreography and performance. The musical dance class is continued with the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The students can get the experience of the actual site with simulation in order to get better understanding of audition.

The dance which is required for audition can be prepared for the individual work and the competition.

This is the total class for the people who hope to be musical actor/actress or general actor. In this course, the students learns the auditions and future directions and practice the production of works and acceptance of audience at the practical organizations.

In this course, the students learn how to prepare the plan and make the PR materials or advertising materials. They learn the planning and the production of works and experience all roles.

From 1st year to 4th year, the students are supposed to perform 8 works with two works for 1st and 2nd semester for each year. If 4 works for the regular performance are added, there will be 12 works. But the students may choose 8 works only. The students may have more if they want.

This course helps the student to understand the actions which enhance the energy consumption for 1 hour with the strong actions and stretching for body line and body weight. The main dances here includes African dance, jazz dance, and zumba dance, which require the dynamic and energetic techniques.
