A variety of laws related to tourism and domestic tourism policy are addressed in this course. This course is designed to provide an advanced understanding in the area of international tourism development. The essential components for a successful national tourism program are studied.

The purpose of the subject is to teach students the characteristics and management issues of major service industries such as distribution, tourism and food service industry which have recently developed, and techniques in each area of service related management to solve them, and to educate an elite labor force in the service industry.
Learners systematically learn the service concepts and management phenomena of businesses supplying services, and understand customers' psychology and behavior. They will also form customer-oriented minds, and learn special knowledge regarding the understanding and evaluation of service activities.

Students recognize the significance of the hotel industry within hospitality industries. They learn the development processes of the hotel industry, affairs of divisions (such as hotel rooms, food & beverage, marketing, facilities, human resources & organization, accounting & finance, general affairs, etc.) and services. We aim to prepare students for the position of international hotel manager.

This course is designed to familiarize students with the front lobby and de나 of a hotel. Emphasis is placed on guest-room availability, the reservation process, guest registration, and night audit and checkout procedures, through a computerized property management system. Students focus on all aspects of the unique relationship between the front office and other departments in a hotel. Also this course familiarizes students with management issues that are unique to the rooms division of a lodging operation.

To give students experience in the tourism industry this is course is carried out in the field. The professor and the administrator of a firm evaluate students' performance periodically. After the placement, each student must submit a report on the placement related to the student’s specified subject. Students are scheduled to work at companies under the charge of the administrators of the companies for at least 4 weeks during summer or winter vacations.
