Studies of Social Welfare is practical study, having the purpose of improving the quality of human life researching for effective solutions for various social problems and ways to help people who are confronting difficulties. For these, this major is educating students professional knowledge and technics, which are needed for social welfare practice targeting children, youth, elders, disabled, females, families, and people who have physical, psychological disorders and mental problems. Through this process, it is the main educational goal of this major to foster Social Welfare experts who are able to contribute to improving the quality of human life and increased welfare of communities.

In Studies of Social Welfare, it has established following courses.

Graduates of Social Welfare major can obtain 2nd grade certificate of social worker, which is national license, and have qualification of applying for 1st grade certificate. Also, they can work as social workers in various welfare field such as social welfare centers, welfare facilities for disabled and elders, welfare foundation, private organizations related to social welfare, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

Welfare Management is convergence of social welfare and management and specialized and competent education system, researching for social welfare and management related theories, raising practical capabilities. This major aims to foster CEO of welfare organizations as competent specialized welfare managers that have right values.

The Welfare Management program offers advanced courses that are designed to develop management professionalism for future and current leaders of social welfare organizations or related businesses. Completion of the program enables the graduates to work as specialized managers in social welfare fields such as public institutions and organizations related to social welfare, social welfare organizations.

Special psychotherapy is applied psychology field fostering application capability of various psychotherapy on the basis of theoretical exploration of psychology and behavior of human to provide help people who suffer psychological pain and maladjustment. Not only individual lives, but also in the dimension of social problem prevention, in the era of growing importance of mental health, Special Psychotherapy puts its educational goal to fostering competent psychotherapists who are able to perform in the mental health field on the basis of practical ability raised by accumulated theory and practices.

In Special Psychotherapy, it has established following courses.

It is possible to work in psychotherapy(counseling)center, educational setting, and psychological clinic as psychotherapist(counseling) after graduation. Also, by the connection of related academic association, those who take its required courses can acquire qualification of therapist such as play therapist, sandplay therapist, family therapist, and arts therapist.

Optical Science is the study that protects and improves visual function of people related to eye health problems that can be occurred by development of various visual mediums and rapid graying, and also researches about related fields of eye health to continue healthy lives. This major combines theories of visual function protection·improvement and practical knowledge, and with this, it fosters experts of optical science and medical health fields through advanced study, then puts its educational purpose as raising creative healthy intelligence contributing improvement of eye health of nation and local communities.

In Studies of Optic Science, it has established following courses.

Graduates of Optical Science can work as researchers and designer of glasses frame·lens fields, related businesses of contact lens and glasses·optic machines as experts of visual health field.

As center of medical rehabilitation, Physical therapy takes important part of rehabilitation treatment including recovery of basic exercise function and relieving pain by training machinery through equipment and movement cure. Not only recovery purpose from illness, but also by following the trend of accelerating graying and health prevention, this graduate school puts its educational purpose to fostering intelligences that contribute to improvement of this nation by strengthening capability of specialized physical therapists and cultivating systematic research ability by acquiring theories and clinical practices of physical therapy.

In Studies of Physical therapy, it has established following courses.

Graduates of Physical Therapy major can work in general hospitals, hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, welfare organizations, sanatoriums, labs, basis laboratories, and overseas hospitals including USA after acquiring Master’s degree, also can be advanced to professors and managers.
